Safety
Precision is not a safety guarantee
A mathematically correct quantity is only one part of a safe food process.
Curing, fermentation and meat calculators are marked safety-sensitive. Their warnings cover assumptions the calculation cannot verify, including product composition, handling, temperature, time and process suitability.
Curing calculations use a central Cure #1 engineering reference that is explicitly not independently validated for production. Bacon and Pancetta calculation results are disabled for public use until independent validation is recorded. Software testing is not food-safety validation. Cure #2 is not supported. Always verify the exact curing product and follow recognised food-safety or manufacturer guidance.
GramFormula never uses AI to determine curing quantities and does not claim that any displayed formula guarantees a safe result.
